This guacamole dip is simply delicious and easy to prepare. You can have it as a dip with some french fries or crisps or even as a side with brown rice goat/lamb pilau or turmeric brown rice or even spread it on toast of some whole wheat raisins bread.
The good thing about this guacamole is that incase you don’t want it smooth, you can still have it chunky and it will still be delicious.
Incase you are wondering what a guacamole dip is: it is a dip made of avocadoes, lemon juice, tomatoes, onions, herbs & spices.
Other ingredients you can add in include garlic, peppers or any other herb like parsley or other spices like cumin. Make it your own.
You can as well leave it chunky or go the smooth way.
Preparation :
Start by dicing up your onion then soak in warm water for about 5 minutes. This helps in reducing the onion tanginess then drain off the water.
Cut the avocados in half, lengthwise and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh and add to a bowl. Dice the tomatoes, cilantro/coriander (dania) leaves and juice the lemon.
Add in the lemon juice then use a fork to mash until creamy. Then add in the diced tomato, cilantro/coriander (dania), drained onions, sea salt, black pepper and cayenne or chilli (if using). Mix everything together and adjust the seasoning to your liking then serve as a dip or side.
Alternatively add all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and pulse like 2-3 times.
Season to your liking then serve.
You can chill it in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving
