These garlic butter saucy chicken wings are finger licking good quite literary! Perfect for any time of day be it breakfast, lunch, dinner or even when entertaining. Your guests will love them and so will your family. These wings are garlicky, buttery and saucy at the same time. Extremely what every garlic and butter lover would like on the dinner table. Plus, they are super easy to make and can be enjoyed with some French fries or even some Crispy Baked Potatoes and a salad or veggies.
PREPARATION & COOKING:
Start by preheating your oven to 200°C and removing your chicken wings from the fridge for it to come to room temperature. You can do this on a tray.
In a small bowl make the spice mix by adding in all your spices together with sea salt & black pepper. Mix well till everything is well combined.
Once the chicken wings are at room temperature, separate the drumette, the wingette, and the wing tip then pat them dry with a paper towel.
Next add in the vegetable oil or olive oil and massage well to coat the wings.
Follow by adding in the spice mix to the oiled chicken wings then massage well to make sure they are all well coated.
Place the chicken wings on a baking rack and remember to put a tray underneath covered with foil for any droplets of oil to fall on and avoid messing your oven.
Bake the chicken wings on a preheated oven at 200°C for for 20 minutes then flip. Return for another 10-15 minutes till crispy
Making the Garlic Butter Sauce
Melt the butter in a small sauce pan then add in the garlic paste or minced garlic and allow to cook till golden on medium low heat.
Follow by adding in the ketchup or tomato sauce, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and honey. Cook for about 5 minutes on medium low heat then remove from heat.
Coating the Chicken Wings
Once the wings are well baked, put them in a bowl then add in the garlic butter sauce and toss them well to fully coat them.
Garnish with some cilantro (dania) leaves then serve them hot or cold as a biting or with any accompaniment of your choice.

Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken wings
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil or olive oil
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 1 bunch of coriander leaves for garnish
Spice mix

- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp paprika powder

- ¼ cup (56g) unsalted butter
- 2 tsp garlic paste
- 3 tbsp ketchup or tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
