This orange carrot smoothie is a healthy low sugar smoothie and perfect for breakfast. The carrots are great for boosting your immune system and add a natural sweetness and color to the smoothie.
One can swap water with any plant based milk of your choice like almond milk or oat milk.
Feel free to use either ground flaxseed or whole flaxseeds. Chia seeds would be a great substitute as well.
Almonds are high is protein but can be substituted with cashew nuts.
If you find this smoothie not as sweet as you would want it to be, you can add in a banana or some honey.

- 1 orange
- ½ cup grated carrot
- 1 tbsp flax seeds*
