Let\u2019s talk about the ingredients needed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Funfetti sprinkles:<\/strong>\u00a0These are the multi colored sprinkles that makes the muffins fun for the little ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Buttermilk:<\/strong>\u00a0it adds moisture and results in a delicious soft tender muffin\u00a0without adding extra fat. Incase you don\u2019t have butter milk on hand, you can easily make your own. Kindly check on the recipe notes how to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Flour<\/strong>: These muffins call for all purpose flour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Granulated sweetener:<\/strong>\u00a0 I used the monkfruit sweetener which is way healthier since it has zero calories.  Incase you don\u2019t have this, you can substitute it with the regular white sugar or castor sugar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Baking powder & baking soda:\u00a0<\/strong>These are our raising agents in these muffins. Since buttermilk is acidic, when combined with baking soda it helps add a lightness and tenderness to the muffins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eggs:<\/strong>\u00a0If you can get organic eggs, the better as they are parked with all the nutrients an egg should have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Oil:<\/strong>\u00a0Any vegetable oil would do especially those with mild taste. It makes the muffins light and fluffy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vanilla extract<\/strong>: If you can get the real deal, go for it! It\u2019s more flavorful and healthy! By the real deal I mean the extract not essence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sea salt<\/strong>: As little as is looks, salt makes the muffins flavorful. Avoid overmixing. Fold in the sprinkles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using an ice-cream scoop or spoon, fill in the prepared muffin cases with the batter.
