These Banana & Raspberry Popsicles are such a healthy treat especially during the hot season. It’s the perfect way of using up over ripe bananas. This recipe is so simple yet it tastes heavenly.
In our household, we strive to have healthy snacks on hand such as fruits so as to grab on the go but since fruit goes bad real quick, making popsicles comes in handy.
The good thing about popsicles is that they can last up to 3 months in the freezer hence can be made in bulk.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED.
Let’s talk about the ingredients needed to make these delicious treats:
- Bananas: Very key ingredient! They make the popsicles way sweeter especially if ripe. The riper they are, the sweeter the popsicles will be.
- Raspberries: You can’t have these popsicles without raspberries of course! This is another key ingredient here. You can use them either fresh or frozen.
- Natural yoghurt or Milk: Whether dairy based or non dairy, the choice is yours!
- Honey: This adds a little more sweetness but it’s totally optional.
How to make banana & raspberry popsicles:
The making of these banana & raspberry popsicles is an easy 5 minute task yet it yields a healthy & sweet treat once frozen.
Blend the ingredients: Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
Freeze for up to 4 hours: Pour the liquid into the popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for them to expand. Insert sticks then freeze until hardened.
Serve & enjoy: Run the mold under warm water for a few seconds to loosen them up, then remove from the mold and enjoy!

Banana & Raspberry Popsicles
Equipment
- Popsicle mold
- Blender
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup (125g) raspberries
- ½ cup (120ml) natural yoghurt or milk
- 1 tbsp honey, optional
Instructions
- Blend: Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Freeze: Pour the liquid into the popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for them to expand. Insert sticks then freeze until hardened (at least 4 hours).
- Serve: Run the mold under warm water for a few seconds to loosen them up, then remove from the mold and enjoy!
