Materials

  • Muffin tin
  • A cup/glass with a flat bottom*
  • Parchment paper or baking paper
  • Any measuring tool like Ruler or tape measure
  • A cutting tool like Scissors or knife

Instructions

  • Take your parchment paper and using your measuring tool, measure out 15 cm length and 15 cm width. Using your scissors or knife, cut the squares and repeat till you have enough pieces to use.
  • Place the parchment paper over the base of your cup or glass. The cut out parchment paper may tend to curl one way from being rolled up, if this happens turn that curl away from the cup/glass. This will help encourage the muffin cases spread open easily (rather than fold in toward themselves) when you put them in your muffin tin.
  • Flatten the base of the can using your palm then firmly press your hand along the parchment against the cup/glass to set the creases of the parchment paper.
  • Transfer the muffin cases to your muffin tin and they are ready to use!

Notes

For the cup or glass: Make sure it fits snugly into your muffin tin. They should be similar in shape and size.
