Oven Roasted Potato (French) Fries

These oven roasted potato (French) fries  are a tasty side dish for any meal. They’re easy to make, have a creamy yet crispy texture and are tossed in the right amount of spices.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg potatoes, peeled & cut into chips
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • Sea salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Line your baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into chips. Wash and dry completely then toss with the cooking oil then the spices, black pepper and sea salt.
  • Transfer to a baking tray lined with parchment paper on a single layer and roast till they start browning for about 30-40 minutes.
  • Toss them then roast for another 20-30 minutes till golden brown.
  • Serve as a side with a main of your choice.
