This Asian Inspired Ground (Minced) Beef is a fabulous quick stir fry made using ground (minced) beef. It’s delicious and flavorful. Perfect served with rice or some mashed potatoes.
PREPARATION & COOKING:
- Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add onion, cook for 1 minute or until onion starts browning.
- Follow by adding in the garlic and cook till fragrant.
- Add the minced beef, stir and cook till it starts browning.
- Add the hoisin sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, black pepper and stock/water then stir to combine. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the sauce has evaporated and beef is cooked.
- Finally add in the chives or spring onions as a garnish then serve with rice or creamy mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 onion diced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- ¾ kg (750g) minced beef
- 3 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
- 2½ tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tsp sugar
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup stock or broth or water
- Chives or spring onions to garnish
