How to store carrots

Knowing how to store carrots is essential as it eliminates or reduces food waste. When well stored, they can last up to 8 weeks fresh!

Over the years I have done this I can 100% guarantee you of the results. I have also leant several other ways of keeping my produce (vegetables and fruits) fresh for longer either in the freezer or fridge or in dark places or over the counter. I have shared several ways in which you can store some produce on the blog and direct links on this blog post.

STEP BY STEP PROCESS ON HOW TO STORE CARROTS

  • Start by washing up your carrots if they are extremely dirty then completely dry them with a kitchen towel. (Washing is completely optional though).
  • Take out your plastic bag or ziplock bag and place the carrots inside then try and seal the bag tightly to avoid air or moisture getting in.
  • Store in the fridge for upto 4-8 weeks.
