Method
- Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add onion, cook for 1 minute or until onion starts browning.
- Follow by adding in the garlic and cook till fragrant.
- Add the minced beef, stir and cook till it starts browning.
- Add the hoisin sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, black pepper and stock/water then stir to combine. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the sauce has evaporated and beef is cooked.
- Finally add in the chives or spring onions as a garnish then serve with rice or creamy mashed potatoes.
