- Soak chopped onion in cold water with ½ tsp of salt for 5–10 minutes. Drain, rinse, and pat dry.
- Combine onion, tomatoes, and avocado in a bowl.
- Add cilantro and lemon juice.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Toss gently to combine.
- Serve fresh.
