Ingredients
Method
- Start by dicing up your onion then soak in warm water for about 5 minutes. This helps in reducing the onion tanginess then drain off the water.
- Cut the avocados in half, lengthwise and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh and add to a bowl.
- Add in the lemon juice then use a fork to mash until creamy.
- Add in the diced tomato, cilantro/coriander (dania), drained onions, sea salt, black pepper and cayenne or chilli (if using)
- Mix everything together and adjust the seasoning to your liking then serve as a dip or side.
- Alternatively add all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and pulse like 2-3 times. Season to your liking then serve.
- You can chill it in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
It can be refrigerated for a day.
