Ingredients
  

  • 400 g bacon, cut into pieces
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • 1 medium cabbage, chopped
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet/pot, cook bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté onion in bacon fat for 4 minutes. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in mustard and paprika.
  4. Add cabbage and cook 10–12 minutes until tender.
  5. Return bacon, toss to combine, and season to taste.
  6. Serve hot.
